amicaa is able to provide both medium size and large format, flexible, and tailored credit solutions to help companies execute on their growth plans or to complete an acquisition, noting that acquisitions can be anywhere in the world.

We specialise in providing private credit solutions to companies across Australia and New Zealand typically with an EBITDA greater than AUD $15 million per annum, and can provide bespoke financing solutions starting from AUD $50 million, with no upper limit.

amicaa also welcomes the opportunity to participate in syndicated transactions and can hold positions of AUD $10 million through to AUD $100 million, subject to standard credit, risk and return hurdles.

amicaa has enhanced flexibility to offer companies flexible solutions including second lien, mezzanine, HoldCo or even preferred equity solutions. For this reason, amicaa can be an ideal partner for both sponsor or founder owned businesses.

amicaa can provide financing in all major currencies and welcomes dialogue with companies at an early stage to assist in planning.

Fund Objective

To deliver attractive, income-orientated returns while preserving capital by investing in a carefully selected portfolio of Australian and New Zealand corporate credit investments. The majority of investment returns are to be paid quarterly in the form of cash income.

Investment Strategy

The Fund’s strategy is centred around investing in mid-to large size companies based In Australia and New Zealand, with favourable market positions and strong management teams. While the investment strategy does not pursue an activist role in companies, Individually negotiated loans may contain features that can preserve investor’s capital, such as backing of specific assets. 

The Fund will not lend to individual speculative residential property developments or early-stage individual assets in mining or oil and gas.

Investment Manager

The fund’s investment portfolio is managed by amicaa Investments Pty Ltd ACN 637 638 530, AFSL 520270. amicaa’s investment team are specialists in Australia and New Zealand credit investing.

amicaa Investments and certain of its related entities have entered into a joint venture arrangement with Carlyle’s Global Credit Platform. Carlyle has appointed amicaa as its exclusive partner to source and manage a diversified portfolio of private debt investments in Australia and New Zealand.

This joint venture enables amicaa to bring investment insights, disciplines and relevant resources to bear in our local management of private debt investments for the amicaa Direct Lending Fund.
